On the day of the holiday in Baku, medical institutions received 2,660 calls, of which 238 people were admitted to the capital's hospitals.

Qazet.az reports was informed about this by the Medical Territorial Units Management Board (TABIB).

It was reported that the Baku City Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Station under TABIB provides services 24/7 in an enhanced working mode. 103 call centers and departments have organized a duty consisting of responsible persons. 130 teams of doctors operate for emergency medical assistance.

It was noted that the number of applications on the day of the holiday increased to about 300: "Thus, on December 30, 2022, the total number of calls was 2,477, the number of those hospitalized was 233, and on December 31, the total number of calls was 2,660, hospitals the number of calls was 238. The reasons for calls were mainly related to increased arterial pressure, cardiac problems, traumas, dyspeptic symptoms, respiratory diseases, etc. Traditionally, a relative increase in the number of calls performed on holidays is recorded.
