25 more 12-meter buses will be launched in Baku
Azerbaijan bought 25 12-meter Isuzu Citiport buses from Turkey's Anadolu Isuzu company.
Qazet.az reports was informed about this by the Baku Transport Agency.
15 buses meeting EURO-6 standards have already been brought to the capital. Another 10 buses will be delivered to Baku soon.
15 new buses will be put into operation on regular route number 202. The technical condition of buses on that route, which is used by more than 13,000 passengers daily, is not satisfactory. There are many requests from citizens regarding the improvement of service quality on this line. Commissioning of new buses will allow for more convenient and safe organization of passenger transportation in the direction of Bilajari settlement.
The other 10 buses to be brought will be involved in transportation on line 133 (Binagadi settlement-Ganclik street).
In the last 7 years, about 1,500 medium and high-capacity buses that meet passenger transportation requirements were brought to Baku and put into operation. In general, 70% of buses in operation on regular routes have been renovated. Most of the buses were bought at the expense of state investment.
