"This year, it is planned to plant 3 million trees and grow 4-5 million saplings within the framework of forest restoration measures."

Qazet.az reports that the head of the Forestry Development Service, Khaliqverdi Huseynov, said this at the press conference on the results of 2022.

He said that currently there are 7 forest regional nursery areas under the regional administrations of the ministry: "There are concrete plans for this year. We will plant 1,200 hectares. Relevant work has been started in this direction."

He reminded that last year more than 5 tons of seeds of 21 species were sown on 14 hectares of land.
