52 people died in protests in Iran

According to the human rights organization Amnesty International, 52 people were killed in clashes with security forces during the latest protests in Iran.

According to the Miami Herald, hundreds of people were injured during the protests, according to Amnesty International.

Iranian state media had previously reported more than 40 dead.

Recall that protests broke out after the death of a young girl named Mahsa Amini, who died after being detained by Iran's "morality police". Mahsa Amini passed away on September 16 and the cause of death is unknown.
