69 candidates applied to perform the duties of female religious rites in mosques
For the first time, 69 candidates applied for the 7 vacancies announced for the position of female religious rite executor in the mosques operating in Azerbaijan.

Elnara Karimova, head of the Analysis and Forecasting Department of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, said this in response to Qazet.az reports question.

The head of the department noted that all the vacant positions for the performance of women's religious rites in houses of worship related to the Islamic religion are in Baku.

According to him, the acceptance of documents for those places has already been completed and the interview phase will be held soon: "Women who successfully pass the interview will be able to perform religious rites in mosques. We hope that those women will be educated, with higher and secondary qualifications, and will contribute to the correct and healthy education of the society. they will be able to contribute".
