A concert of Azerbaijani performers dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" was held in Riga
A concert of Azerbaijani performers dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" was held in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

Qazet.az reports bureau in the Baltic states informs that representatives of political circles of Latvia, members of the diplomatic corps accredited here and Azerbaijanis living in this country participated in the event organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Latvia Elnur Sultanov said in his welcoming speech that the concert was dedicated to the Victory Day, when the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was restored. He spoke about the history of the city of Shusha and its importance for the development of Azerbaijani culture as a whole.

Works of great Azerbaijani composers Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Vasif Adigozalov, Fikret Amirov, Muslim Magomayev and other prominent representatives of Azerbaijani culture were performed by the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Ilham Nazarov, famous pianist Saida Taghizadeh and famous tarzan Sahib Pashazade at the National Library of Latvia.
