A public hearing on paid paternity leave will be held in the Milli Majlis.

According to Qazet.az reports, the chairman of the Family, Women and Children's Affairs Committee of the Milli Majlis, Hijran Huseynova, said this at the first meeting of the committee held in the fall session today.

According to him, in the autumn session, the committee discussed the issue of paid paternity leave and the establishment of parental leave based on gender equality in the legislation, "the role of local and international legal and regulatory acts in the protection of children's rights in Azerbaijan" and the implementation of a gender-sensitive budget from the Asian Development Bank and international experts. involves holding public hearings with his participation.
