Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has disbanded the board after buying Twitter. Musk announced that he is the sole director of the company.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has dissolved the management board of Twitter, which he bought, and made himself the "sole manager".

According to AA, Twitter has informed the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that Musk is the sole manager of the company.

Qazet.az reports about that. Musk noted in his Twitter account that being the sole manager of the company is a "temporary" situation.

Chief Executive Officer Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Sega and former Chairman of the Board Bret Taylor were among the senior executives who were fired.

Musk had previously fired some senior officials, including Director of Legal Policy Vijaya Gadde.

On the other hand, Prince Waleed bin Talal, CEO of Saudi Arabia's Royal Holding Company (KHC), is the second largest shareholder on Twitter after Musk.

It was reported that Musk's purchase of the social media company Twitter for $44 billion was completed.
