A voluntary blood donation campaign was organized in Ganja
In the city of Ganja, a voluntary blood donation campaign was organized within the framework of the "Thalassemia-free life" project.

According to the Qazet.az reports, the action took place in the Ganja Branch of the Central Blood Bank with the joint organization of the Ganja City Executive Authority and the National Hematology and Transfusion Center.

The management of Ganja City Executive Authority, management, enterprise, organization heads and city residents took part in the event.

The blood group of each donor was determined by the doctors-hemologists of the special medical brigade, and after it was found that there were no problems with their health, the blood donation campaign was started.

The purpose of the event was to provide free help in increasing the blood needs of children suffering from hemophilia and thalassemia.

It should be noted that the action started in the morning and continued throughout the day.
