An An-12 aircraft carrying eight people on board has disappeared from radars close to Russia's Irkutsk province, Qazet.az informs, citing TASS.

The plane went off radars when preparing for landing in the Povovarikha settlement 7 kilometers from Irkutsk.

Rescuers were dispatched to the scene.
