"AIT": "By the end of this year, we will have no debt to "Azerigas"

AIT OJSC will have no debt to the "Azerigas" Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) by the end of this year.

Qazet.az reports that Ramil Maharramov, adviser to the chairman of OJSC, said this in his statement to journalists.

According to him, 90% of the debt to "Azerigas" has been paid for this year.

AIT is not a fully commercial enterprise. We also have a social mission. From this point of view, the financial support of the state is important for us. But every year we try to reduce the resources we use, use modern management methods and prevent losses that may occur in time. We are trying to minimize the support given to us by our state, to use cost-effective technologies and materials," said R. Maharramov.
