Akar condemned Armenia's provocation, expressed support to Azerbaijan

Ministry of National Defence of Turkey has disseminated information about the phone conversation between minister Hulusi Akar and Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Qazet.az reports citing Turkish MoD.

During the phone conversation, Akar has condemned the aggressive act of Armenia that violated the ceasefire by targeting the positions of the Azerbaijani Army.

He noted that Turkey always stands by brotherly Azerbaijan and will also stand by Azerbaijan in its righteous fight from now.

H. Akar has extended condolences regarding the death of our military serviceman as a result of provocation committed by the armed forces of Armenia on January 11 in the direction of the Kalbajar region on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border on January 11.
