Ambassador: "We celebrate Azerbaijan's decision to open an embassy in Israel"

Israel's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Dick, tweeted about Baku's official decision to open an embassy in Tel Aviv.

According to Qazet.az reports, the diplomat wrote that he noted this.

"We decided to celebrate Azerbaijan's decision to open an embassy in Israel with a traditional Azerbaijani meal. But we cannot agree on which food to celebrate," said the ambassador.

C. Dick named several national dishes of Azerbaijan and asked for advice on which one to choose from among them.

"Dushbara and dolma, shah pilaf and fish soup, piti and leaf khangali, kebab," he said.

It should be noted that on November 18, the Milli Majlis agreed to the opening of embassies of Azerbaijan in Israel, Albania and Kenya. The embassy of Azerbaijan in Israel will be located in the capital Tel Aviv, the embassy in Albania will be located in the capital Tirana, and the embassy in Kenya will be located in Nairobi.

In addition, Azerbaijan is establishing a Permanent Mission in the UN branch in Nairobi and a Representative Office in the State of Palestine (in Ramallah). The Parliament also approved the related projects.
