An agreement was reached between Iran and Russia to create a free economic zone
An agreement was reached between Iran and Russia to create a joint free economic zone.
Qazet.az reports that Head of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free Zones Nasrullah Ibrahimi said this.
Referring to the negotiations with the Russian side, he said that there are two reasons for the establishment of joint free zones between the two countries. One of them is Iran's membership of the Eurasian Economic Union. The second is the agreement between Iran and Russia on the establishment of a joint free zone.
According to Ibrahimi, according to the agreement between Iran and Russia, a joint free economic zone or a joint investment zone will be established between the two countries to increase the level of mutual relations and cooperation in economic, trade and industrial fields.
Logistics, transport hubs, banking, financial and international exchange institutions will be developed in this zone.
