AREA discussed the use of wind energy in green hydrogen production with Siemens
The State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy discussed with the German company "Siemens Energy" the possibilities of using the high potential of offshore wind energy in the production of "green hydrogen" in Azerbaijan.

Qazet.az reports with reference to AREA, the discussions were held during the meeting of the Director of the Agency Javid Abdullayev with the representative of "Siemens Energy" Yashar Musayev.

C. Abdullayev gave detailed information about the projects implemented in the field of renewable energy in Azerbaijan. He talked about the application of hydrogen energy, the contracts signed with international companies in this direction, the possibilities of using the high potential of offshore wind energy in the production of "green hydrogen" in our country.

Later, Y. Musayev made a presentation and gave extensive information about the production of "green hydrogen" in the world, the methods of obtaining hydrogen in industry, the projects and technologies planned to be implemented in this direction.

At the end, mutual discussions were held and opportunities for cooperation were reviewed.
