Azerbaijani positions were subjected to fire in the Kalbajar direction by Armenian armed forces, the Ministry of Defense told Qazet.az.

"On February 11, starting from 8:50 a.m until 9:00 a.m, units of Armenian armed forces have subjected units of the Azerbaijani Army in Zeylik residential settlement of Kalbajar district to fire from their positions in Yukhari Shorzha settlement of the Basarkechar region by using small arms without any reason.

As a result of the retaliatory actions undertaken by the Azerbaijan Army Units, the opposing side was suppressed. There is no loss among personnel and equipment.

Currently, the situation in this direction is stable, the Azerbaijan Army Units control the operational situation," said the Ministry.
