Azerbaijan, Britain discuss strengthening cooperation in energy field

According to the information, the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of energy, investigation of solution opportunities of climate changes has been noted

A meeting has been held between Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and the UK's Minister for Exports, new co-chair of Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on economic cooperation Mike Freer in a video-conference format, Ministry told Qazet.az.

An exchange of views has been conducted regarding issues coming from bilateral cooperation after the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held in May of the current year at the meeting, held with the participation of Ambassadors of both countries. Taken concrete steps in the direction of implementation of Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the countries on cooperation in the field of a switch to clean energy.
