Azerbaijan reconsiders commitment to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the country’s position in this regard will be announced in near future, Director of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva at the conference dedicated to UN Day, Qazet.az reports.

According to her, in comparison to 1990, the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Azerbaijan by 35% is a fairly ambitious commitment.
