Chairman of Montenegrin Parliament Arrives in Azerbaijan

The Chairman of the Parliament of Montenegro Aleksa Bečić arrived in our country on an official visit on 16 January, the Press and Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis told Qazet.az.

The guest was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev Intl Airport of Baku by Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev, the head of the friendship group for inter-parliamentary relations with Montenegro Igbal Mammadov, the Montenegrin ambassador in Baku Periša Kastratović and other officials.

It should be mentioned that the visit’s programme includes a number of conversations that Mr Bečić will have with Azerbaijani state officials. The current status and future growth of the inter-parliamentary connexions will be discussed at the forthcoming meeting with the Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.

Whilst at the airport of Baku, Aleksa Bečić answered the journalists’ questions about his starting visit to Azerbaijan.
