Condition of those injured in helicopter crash announced

14 servicemen were killed and two were injured in the accident

Two people injured in a military helicopter crash during training flights at the Garaheybat Training Centre are currently in the State Border Service (SBS) hospital, said SBS Deputy Chief Ilham Mehdiyev, Qazet.az informs.

Speaking about the condition of the injured lieutenant colonel Jafarov Emil Mammad oglu and captain Adilov Ramin Ramiz oglu, the deputy head of the SBS said: "They are out and about."

Notably, 14 servicemen were killed and two were injured in the accident.

The Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Article 352.2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of the rules of flight or preparation for flight, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence) and other articles. The investigation of the criminal case has been taken under exceptional control by the Prosecutor General.
