Deputy Prosecutor General: “Violation of law was not found on the flight of the helicopter and its involvement in training”

“Professional staff immediately conducted a detailed inspection of the scene based on the information received about the helicopter crash. We took the "black box", which is crucial for determining the cause of the helicopter crash, in accordance with the relevant technical and procedural norms during the inspection of the scene,” said Deputy Prosecutor General, State Counselor of Justice III degree Elchin Mammadov at a briefing being held on military helicopter crash during training on November, Qazet.az reports.

He noted that numerous witnesses in the criminal case have been interrogated at the current stage of the investigation, as well as, intensive investigation acts have been implemented, different examinations have been determined and other studies have been conducted: "During the investigation, no violation of the law has been determined in connection with the flight of the helicopter and involving to the training on the day of the accident. Thus, the helicopter has been involved in the training in accordance with the normative documents, that are in force, determining the composition of the flight crew in accordance with a pre-approved plan that no violation of any normative requirements has been revealed in this process".
