Kazakhstan has closed 5 of the 7 border checkpoints on the border with Kyrgyzstan

Qazet.az reports that the statement came from the Kyrgyz Border Service.

"Kazakhstan has unilaterally suspended the movement of people, vehicles and goods at border checkpoints since January 7, 2022 due to a malfunction in the Unified Information System," the statement said.
