The Moscow Kremlin wall battlements have been damaged by strong wind, Denis Simonov, spokesman for the Federal Protection Service said on Friday, Qazet.az reports citing TASS.

"Restoration works are being conducted at a section of the Kremlin wall from the Spasskaya to the Senate Towers. The works were suspended due to the strong wind," he said, adding that the wind brought down the scaffolds and a number of the wall’s battlements.

"No one was hurt," he said, without providing further comments.
