Providing all the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the occupation with electricity by the end of this year is one of the main targets, said Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Sultanov in his speech at the opening of Rebuild Karabakh and BakuBuild 2021 exhibitions, Qazet.az reports.

He noted that in accordance with these targets 3 out of 4 20-megawatt stations were restored in Lacin, Kalbajar, and Sugovushan.

“Installing 9 stations with 110KV has almost been completed. Gas supply of the region will be carried out in 4 stages,” noted E. Sultanov.

He also added that there are 7,200 megawatts of solar and 2,000 megawatts of wind potential in the liberated territories from the occupation.
