Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the positive role of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, Qazet.az reports quoting RIA Novosti.

At a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that trilateral negotiations with the participation of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are needed to create conditions for a settlement in Karabakh so that people can live in peace.

At a bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Putin noted that a number of issues will be discussed to resolve the situation in Karabakh.

“Here our peacekeepers also play a positive role, the Russian-Turkish ceasefire control center is actively working.
