US, Taliban to discuss evacuation of foreigners from Afghanistan

The talks will focus on the fulfillment by Afghan Taliban leaders of commitments to allow Americans and other foreign citizens to leave Afghanistan 

The USA and the Taliban will discuss the evacuation of foreign citizens and Afghan nationals from Afghanistan, the Associated Press quotes an official representative of the US State Department, Qazet.az informs.

Thus, the meeting will take place on Saturday and Sunday in the capital of Qatar, Doha, where US officials will meet with senior Taliban officials.

The talks will focus on the fulfillment by Afghan Taliban leaders of commitments to allow Americans and other foreign citizens to leave Afghanistan along with Afghans if they previously worked for the US government or ther allies.
