Azerbaijan and Turkey discuss expansion of mutual investments

The head of the Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev met in Istanbul with representatives of a number of Turkish business structures and discussed with them the expansion of mutual investments.

Reportedly, at meetings with the head of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK) Nail Olpak, the secretary general of the International Investors Association (YASED) Serkan Valandova, the head of the Turkish Exporters Council (TIM) Mustafa Gultepe, the head of Invest in Türkiye Burak Daglioglu, the executive director of the World Association of Agencies on Investment Promotion (WAIPA) Ismail Ershahin discussed the issues of expanding the opportunities for mutual investment, introducing a “single window” system in attracting investments, preparing a joint action plan to increase trade, holding a regional investment forum together with WAIPA, organizing Investment Roadshow events in Turkey in 2023 year.
