Azerbaijan considers lifting face mask requirement

An issue on lifting face mask ban in the close places is considered, said the minister of health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev to journalists, Qazet.az reports.

He called on people to be patient.

"It is clear that the infection cases are being decreased. Daily hospitalization numbers are also expressed in simple numbers. Taking into account all of these, the issue is considered. I call on our citizens to be patience. The pandemic marathon continuing for more than 2 years has isolated our people from normal life. I call to wait for the official decision of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers," said the minister.
