Azerbaijan determines restrictions on releasing report on operations against religious extremism

Restrictions on releasing reports on operations against religious extremism are being determined, reflected in the draft law "on Media"

Restrictions on releasing reports on operations against religious extremism are being determined, reflected in the draft law "on Media", Qazet.az reports.

In accordance with the draft law, the spread of information considered in Article 9.3 of the law “On the fight against religious extremism” will not be allowed.

Thus, the spread of the following information is not allowed:

-information about the tactic and technical methods of conducting special operations against religious extremism;

-information causing threat to the life and health of people in the special operation zone against religious extremism or outside this zone and information interfering to conduct special operations against the religious extremism;

-information justifying religious extremism or serving to the promotion of it;

-information about people participating in the special operations against religious extremism, as well as helping to conduct these operations.
