Azerbaijan, Georgia mull cooperation in tourism

A delegation led by Adviser to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency Kanan Guluzade paid a working visit to Georgia, Qazet.az informs.
During the visit, the delegation met with Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili.
The sides discussed priority areas of cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of tourism and civil aviation. The main focus was on the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in both areas.
They noted that it is important to combine the efforts of the countries of the region to attract more visitors from the target countries to the South Caucasus, which, in turn, can contribute to the further development of the tourism and civil aviation sectors in each country.
