Azerbaijan handed over bodies of about 1700 Armenian servicemen So far - FM Bayramov says

“After the trilateral agreement, Armenia asked for more time than agreed in the timetable to leave the territories. By agreeing to this, Azerbaijan showed that it had no other purpose,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the conference on “44 day Victory road”, Qazet.az reports.

Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan has opened the ways for humanitarian purposes: “So far, Azerbaijan has handed over the bodies of about 1,700 Armenian servicemen in accordance with humanitarian law. The fate of our 4,000 people went missing in the First Karabakh War is still unknown. But we acted differently. During the winter months, Azerbaijan allowed gas to be transported from its territory to Armenia, acting as a victorious.”
