Azerbaijan hands over 1,709 bodies of slain military to Armenia so far

"Azerbaijan has so far handed over bodies of 1,709 servicemen to Armenia," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said

"Azerbaijan has so far handed over bodies of 1,709 servicemen to Armenia," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in response to a question from Qazet.az.

The minister added that Azerbaijan will also continue the searches for those missing during the first Karabakh war.

"We understand that those people are probably not alive, but they have relatives and friends."
