Azerbaijan is proposed to open new embassies abroad

"As the issue of opening new embassies of Azerbaijan abroad is within the powers of the head of the country, I cannot say anything about it."

Qazet.az reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this in response to the proposals made at the joint session of the parliament regarding the discussion of the draft law "On the 2023 state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

The minister positively evaluated the proposals for opening new embassies:

"Because it is necessary to increase the international activity of Azerbaijan. For this, certain costs may be needed."
