Azerbaijan MFA: "9 Azerbaijani journalists were martyred as a result of Armenia's aggression"
"9 Azerbaijani journalists were martyred as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan."
Qazet.az reports according to Report that this was announced in a tweet by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
"Justice must be ensured in this regard," the post said.
In the post, the names of the martyred journalists were announced and information was given about their rights:
"Salatin Asgarova - on January 9, 1991, while in a car near Shusha, he was shot and killed.
Ali Mustafayev, Fakhreddin Shahbazov, Arif Huseynzade and Osman Mirzayev - on November 20, 1991, near the village of Garakend, Khojavend region, they were martyred as a result of a helicopter shooting.
Chingiz Mustafayev - died on May 22, 1992 as a result of a shell fired by the Armenian armed forces while filming in the village of Nakhchivanli, Khojaly region.
Zibeyda Adilzadeh - on November 28, 2020, he fell into a mine buried by the Armenian armed forces in the territory of Seyidahmadli village of Fuzuli district, which was freed from occupation.
Siraj Abishov and Maharram Ibrahimov - died on June 4, 2021 as a result of the explosion of a mine placed by the Armenian armed forces in the territory of the liberated village of Susuz of the Kalbajar district," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
It should be noted that November 2 is celebrated worldwide as the day to end impunity for crimes against journalists.
Today, on the International Day to #EndImpunity for Crimes Against #Journalists, we remember and demand justice for 9 Azerbaijani journalists who were killed merely for doing their work in the course of military aggression by #Armenia against #Azerbaijan.
