Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense holds briefing on serviceman, missing in Kalbajar

According to Ministry official, search and rescue operations are underway to find missing first lieutenant F. Baghirov

Ministry of Defense is holding a briefing on missing four Azerbaijani servicemen due to sudden change of weather conditions and blizzard in Alagollar area of the Kalbajar region, Qazet.az reports.

Deputy Chairman of Press Service of the Ministry Anar Eyvazov has noted that three of four servicemen, missing as a result of blizzard, have been found and hospitalized.

"Missing first lieutenant Baghirov Fuad Allahverdi, Long-term active military serviceman junior sergeant Huseynov Javad Rauf, soldier Huseynov Mashallah Rovshan and soldier Karimov Yasin Yavar lost their way in the area. As a result of the search aimed at finding servicemen, junior sergeant J.Huseynov, soldier M.Huseynov, and soldier Y.Karimov were found in the morning of January 29. They were taken to a military hospital and taken under medical supervision in Kalbajar," A. Eyvazov noted.

According to Ministry official, search and rescue operations are underway to find missing first lieutenant F. Baghirov.
