Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense releases report on work done in field of press during first half of current year

15,022 pieces of information in the local and foreign media

A semi-annual report on the work done by the Ministry of Defense in the field of the press from January 1 to June 30, 2022, has been prepared,  Qazet.az reports Ministry of Defense.

During the reporting period, 461 pieces of information were posted in the Azerbaijani, Russian, and English languages on the Defense Ministry's official website -www.mod.gov.az-.

At the same time, 489 pieces of information were shared on the Ministry's official Facebook account, 648 on Instagram, 648 on Telegram, 547 tweets were posted on Twitter, and 199 videos were shared on YouTube.

2,279 photos and 199 videos related to military-patriotic and other events were posted on the Ministry's official website.

Moreover, 51 inquiries from mass media were responded in the Azerbaijani, Russian, and English languages.

During the period, 132 appeals received from the mass media were considered and the necessary assistance was provided to organize the filming.

Within the reporting period, 16 media tours to various types of troops of the Azerbaijan Army, departments and services of the Ministry, special educational institutions, especially to military units, stationed in the liberated territories, and combat positions, located on the state border, were organized in order to inform the public and improve the work with the media.

As part of the media tours, journalists met with servicemen, interviewed them, and got acquainted with the organization of service and combat activities of military personnel, as well as their social and living conditions and logistics support.

15,022 pieces of information in the local and foreign media, as well as on social networks were monitored and analyzed during the reporting period.
