Azerbaijan's Ombudsman makes an appeal regarding the genocide committed by Armenia in Malibeyli and Gushchu

The Ombudsman made an appeal on the 30th anniversary of the massacres committed by Armenians in the villages of Malibeyli and Gushchular in Shusha, the Ombudsman's Office told Qazet.az.

The policy of ethnic cleansing and genocide pursued by Armenia against Azerbaijanis throughout history has led to crimes resulting in the massacre of civilians.

One of the victims of this dirty policy against humanity and humanity was the peaceful Azerbaijani families living in the villages of Malibeyli and Gushchular. On February 10-12, 1992, Armenian armed forces committed genocide in the villages of Malibeyli, Ashagi Gushchular and Yukari Gushchular in the Shusha region, killing about 50 peaceful Azerbaijanis, including children, women and the elderly, and completely burning the villages.

Using the atmosphere of impunity, the Armenian armed forces continued their ugly deeds after the massacre in the villages of Malibeyli, Ashagi Gushchular and Yukhari Gushchular and committed the Khojaly genocide, one of the greatest tragedies of the century in Garadaghli, Agdaban.

I believe that the members of the Armenian armed forces and the military-political leadership of Armenia, who committed the most heinous crimes against humanity and humanity, will soon be brought to international legal responsibility.
