Azerbaijan’s trade surpplus sharply increases

There was a positive balance in the amount of USD 6 285 345,7 thousand

In January-September of this year, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up USD 22 974 296 thousand, it is 24,8% more in annual comparison, Qazet.az reports citing the report of State Customs Committee.

In the first half of the year export made up USD 14 629 820,87 thousand, while import was USD 8 344 475,16 thousand. Azerbaijan’s export increased by 38,3%, while imports increased by 6,7% in annual comparison.

During the reporting period, there was a positive balance in the amount of USD 6 285 345,7 thousand, which is 2,3 times more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year.
