Azerbaijan starts drawing up state budget for next year

According to the document, the Finance Ministry has been instructed to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers by April 15 the initial draft state budget for the next year

Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed an order in connection with the preparation of the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for 2023, as well as the concept of the country’s economic and social development and medium-term forecasts, Qazet.az informs.

According to the document, the Finance Ministry has been instructed to submit to the Cabinet of Ministers by April 15 the initial draft state budget for the next year, as well as the forecast of the consolidated budget for the next year and the subsequent three years.

In addition, the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry has been instructed to prepare a preliminary draft of the state investment program by directions within the established time frame.
