Azerbaijan wants to resume oil exports through the Baku-Supsa pipeline

Azerbaijan wants to use the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, which is currently not in operation.

Qazet.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this in a joint statement to the press after the meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili.

"We talked about this. I informed the Prime Minister about our plans. There is a great need and great potential for this," the head of state said.

He also added that oil exports will be increased next year through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline.
