Azerbaijani and Iranian FMs had a phone conversation

The ministers exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir Abdullahian, the Foreign Ministry's press service told Qazet.az

The ministers exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The sides noted the importance of the next meeting of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, which will be held in Azerbaijan on March 9-10 this year. In this regard, it was noted with satisfaction that a group of businessmen visited Azerbaijan along with the Iranian delegation.

The ministers also discussed regional issues, as well as the situation in Ukraine.

The ministers exchanged views on the progress of talks in Vienna on Iran's nuclear program, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
