Azerbaijani bank sector’s net profit sharply increases

The net profit of the banks increased by 2,3 times while operating profits increased by 25,6% in annual comparison

In January of this year banks in Azerbaijan obtained AZN 58,6 mln. net profit and operating profit amounted to AZN 89,4 mln., according to the calculations of Qazet.az based on the information of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The net profit of the banks increased by 2,3 times while operating profits increased by 25,6% in annual comparison.
