Azerbaijani President: “We are ready to start peace talks and to sign peace agreement”

Delimitation and demarcation of our state borders with the recognition of the territorial integrity of both countries is on the table

“Now we are post-conflict situation where we made several proposals to Armenia to start working on a peace agreement,” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his speech at the opening of VIII Global Baku Forum - "The World after COVID-19", Qazet.az reports.

The head of the state noted that because we do not want to talk about war, we want to talk about peace, we want to talk about the future: “Unfortunately this proposal is still not answered. At the same time, we made a proposal to start working on the delimitation and demarcation of our state borders with the recognition of the territorial integrity of both countries. Again it is in line with international law norms and normal behavior and this proposal is not also addressed.
