A serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army, Aliyev Babak Asgar, was killed in a landmine explosion in the east of Kalbajar district, which was newly retaken by the Azerbaijani Army, Qazet.az reports according to the defence ministry.

“The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the Martyr and wishes them patience. May God rest his soul!” the ministry said in a statement.
