Azerbaijani wrestlers won 4 medals at the world championship and championship
The Kazakh wrestling world championship and championship among U-17, U-20 and adults was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

According to Qazet.az report  referring to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Azerbaijani athletes finished the competition with 4 medals.

Among the adults, Nasimi Unbayev won a silver medal in the 55 kg weight class, while Nijat Ismayilov (U-17, 60 kg), Atakhan Babayev (U-20, 60 kg) and Nihad Iskanderov (U-20, 100 kg) were awarded bronze medals.
