The humanitarian aid sent by "Azerenergy" OJSC to Ukraine today with a convoy of trucks from the territory of the Gobu Energy Junction includes 45 power transformers and 50 generators.

Qazet.az reports that Samad Islamov, authorized representative of OJSC, said this in his statement to journalists.

According to him, the first part of the aid worth 1 million 422 thousand manats and weighing 52 tons is currently on its way: "The next part will be sent in the next few days."

S. Islamov noted that there are close cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine: "In general, the relations between these two states and two peoples have a rich history. At present, in the crisis and difficult days of Ukraine, Azerbaijan is still with the friendly people of Ukraine and we are sending the next humanitarian aid for the friendly Ukrainians.
