"Azerkosmos" provided the South Caucasus Pipeline with satellite internet
The strategically important Ersin Discharge Station located in the Azerbaijani part of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) is provided with the necessary satellite internet communication.

According to Qazet.az report referring to "SOCAR Midstream Operations" company, which is the operator of SCP, a cooperation agreement was signed between "SOCAR Midstream Operations" and the Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport ("Azerkosmos").

The station is located outside the range of traditional means of communication. The use of satellite internet has further improved the quality of SCP's technical operation by enhancing connectivity to remote areas.

Internet services are provided through the "Azconnexus" platform of the "Azerspace-1" satellite.

It should be noted that the "Azconnexus" platform provides uninterrupted, secure and high-quality internet service via the "Azerspace-1" telecommunication satellite operated by "Azerkosmos". This platform allows users to benefit from different types of traffic including video, audio and data via satellite internet.
