Benefits and pensions will be increased in 2023

At the meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov gave information about the 2023 state budget project.

Qazet.az reports with reference to oksu.az that according to the minister, the project predicts 30.7 billion manats of state budget revenues for 2023. This is the highest indicator in the country's history, 5.2 percent more than in 2022, and 16.4 percent more than in 2021.

In 2023, the expenses of the state budget are predicted to be 33.3 billion manats, which is 1 billion manats more than in 2022, and 5.9 billion manats more than in 2021. The expenses of the state budget of 2023, as well as the revenues, are the highest indicators in the history of the country.

The minister noted that the restoration of the territories freed from occupation and provision of a large return plan are among the main directions in the draft state budget of 2023.
