“In the post-conflict period, the South Caucasus may develop in a different, positive direction,” said Former Prime Minister of Turkey at the panel South Caucasus: Prospects for Regional Development and Cooperation held within the framework of Global Baku Forum, Qazet.az reports.
He noted that according to the trilateral agreement signed by Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian leaders in November 2020, the corridors should be opened: “We see that the Lachin corridor, according to the trilateral agreements, opened for humanitarian purposes, is not used properly, Armenia commits provocative actions. Russia must fulfill its obligations under this agreement more effectively. At the same time, Zangazur corridor should be opened.”
