Qazet.az reports with reference to TASS that this was written by the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for foreign affairs and security policy, Joseph Borrell, on his Twitter page.

According to him, Russia's aggression against Ukraine brought the war back to Europe.

"Today, we look at the Eastern Partnership in a completely different way. The Eastern Partnership should be adapted to the challenges and different needs of the partner countries," he wrote.

"I also propose to continue the Eastern Partnership policy as a means of regional cooperation in parallel with the enlargement process," the statement said.
